Building Surveys
My experience working for both the public and private sectors within New Zealand has provided me with a comprehensive knowledge of the detailing and construction used for all types of buildings that allows us to identify when breaches of the New Zealand Building Code have occurred. This ability to provide detailed investigation and analysis reports is a key discipline that allows me to provide tailored reports for clients on any number of construction issues. This can also include remedial works recommendations, detailed planned maintenance schedules and costing’s as necessary.
Code Compliance Certification
There are still a considerable number of properties in New Zealand that for whatever reason have failed to obtained a sign off for completed building works and have no Code Compliance Certificate (CCC). Dependant on individual circumstances, the local Territorial Authority (i.e. Councils) have a number of means to address this situation and with our previous Council employment experience and contacts, we are well qualified to assist in working through the issues with the Council to ensure that compliance may be achieved, including the issues of a Code Compliance Certificate.
